I learned about wellness programs and ways in which I can implement them in my organization.  This training was very practical; I related well to the content of the presentation.  The manual was well-written, and its content was very easy to understand. 
Negligence in the workplace can be detrimental to both employees and customers alike.  It can also have a great impact on the company’s bottom-line.  The course made me realize the importance of recordkeeping because it ensures that mistakes are properly documented and dealt with in a timely manner.  The documentation can be used as future reference. 
The instructor was excellent.  His enthusiasm and real-life experiences kept the class engaged and interested.

The course content was quite comprehensive and provided a “template” for our organization to assist us to become more effective in my job as facilities manager.  Examples covered will assist me in training others to be safety-conscious, and limit exposure to hazardous job conditions.  I now have a better appreciation for safety in the workplace, and it has equipped me to see the challenges that can be resolved.  Prior to taking this course, I viewed some of these job hazards as “stressors” and “threats” to job security. 
Before taking this course, my job was more reactive than proactive.  The days spent at this seminar has given me a new perspective in the types of programs I can implement immediately on the job. 
The examples given by the instructor were very relevant and helped each of us to grasp the subject matter.

I would recommend this course to everyone because health and safety starts with not only one’s organization, but to one’s self. My organization is in the process of appointing a health and safety officer, because we strongly believe in the health and safety of everyone. The training manual I received is very detailed and filled with lots of information that I can share with others as needed. This training course has helped me to understand the critical nature of my job. I will be leading and managing the health and safety office at SCASPA and the training I received has prepared me for this role. This health and safety program will not only improve my effectiveness on the job, but it has opened up my eyes to several inefficiencies that need to be corrected as soon as possible.
