As a manager, the duties and responsibilities of a collection’s manager or supervisor was the most important part of this training.  This course is very informative and anyone who is in the business of debt collection can certainly benefit from taking this course.
Having been exposed to this workshop, I now have a broader knowledge of debt collection and will be able to use some of the procedures learned to improve my overall effectiveness.
Further, the instructor covered all parts of the program, and most participants were able to gather a clear understanding of the course contents.

Writing collection letters (the way that they should be presented to taxpayers), was most valuable to me.  The topics were relevant, and were presented in such a way that provoked my thought processes, and made me more aware of my strengths and weaknesses.  I have gained a better understanding of telephone courtesy, collections letters, and how they are worded and coded.
I have a better insight into the world of the “underground” economy and how it can impact targets within the Revenue Department.  I am even more motivated to do more in terms of improving my skills used in the debt collections process outlined by the instructor.
The instructor’s teaching style was very open – sticking to topic and giving realistic examples of each cited example.  I liked that the instructor encouraged each participant to engage and participate in group activities.
There is always room for improvement, and as such, training workshops of this caliber will be necessary.  It is my belief that ongoing training should be included in our federal budgets.

This training was well needed and I enjoyed it.  It feels good to be informed about my role in the collections department.  I feel it’s time our Government cracks down on “underground” activities because we are losing a lot of revenue based on this illegal activity.
The instructor was a sharp thinker and answered every question to the satisfaction of all.  Answers were promptly given, and in a manner that everyone could understand.  All answers were specific and to the point.
