CK 700A Debt Collection Management Strategies and Techniques for New and Experienced Collectors, Supervisors and Managers in Utility Industries (Water, Electricity, Telephone, Cable and Petroleum)

I recently attended this debt collection management strategies and techniques training, and after my attendance, I feel that I am better equipped to use it as a road map to establish processes and procedures in the collections and credit department.  I have grasped a lot of great information from the instructor who was articulate and very clear in the delivery of the training session.  I especially liked that the instructor made the training interactive, i.e. everyone had a chance to participate and share knowledge with each other.
Ziva Phillips, Finance & Account Manager, Finance Department, St. Lucia Electrical Services Ltd. (LUCELEC), St. Lucia

This Debt Collection Management Strategies and Techniques training has given me the knowledge to become a better manager to the people whom I supervise.  The portions of this training program I liked most were the topics on conducting feasibility studies and determining how to set targets for collection.  The instructor was very candid – I liked that!  I also liked that the instructor used “real-life” experiences to help make the class participants understand the information.
Malaika Compton, Credit Control Officer, Debt Collections Department, St. Lucia Electrical Services Ltd. (LUCELEC), St. Lucia

The entire training program was beneficial to me as it was well presented and gave me a holistic approach to understanding the process of making strategic collections decisions in the utilities industry.  During and after the training, I felt empowered and ready to build a framework for change that is needed in the company.  This training was intense and comprehensive, and well worth my time and effort to attend. I know it’s going to improve my efficiency and effectiveness.  Finally, the instructor was dynamic, professional and knowledgeable.  I would love to attend some other courses with Cohen and Klein Consulting, Inc.
Samuel Alexander, Credit Control Clerk, Finance & Accounting Department, St. Lucia Electrical Services Ltd. (LUCELEC), St. Lucia

The core collection topics of the debt collection strategies and techniques training program were invaluable to me as I learnt a lot about the collections process, especially as it relates to utility corporations.  The training instructor was well versed on a number of topics and I liked how well-rounded the program was.
Cornphia Simon, Acting Credit Control Supervisor, Finance & Accounting Department, St. Lucia Electrical Services Ltd. (LUCELEC), St. Lucia

A practical and realistic approach to debt collection management in utility corporations was a real eye-opener in terms of the immediate and practical changes that are required in my company.  I enjoyed this course because of its comprehensive, detailed and practical approach to the collections process.  The way in which the class was conducted allowed each participant the opportunities to not only learn but to understand most of the topics being discussed.  This program was above my expectations.  It was very practical and has changed my understanding of the proper functioning of the collections department.
Justin George, Credit Control Supervisor, Finance, St. Lucia Electrical Services Ltd. (LUCELEC), St. Lucia

The strategies for collecting debt in the government and other large consumer accounts form the core of my present job responsibilities.  This Debt Collection Management Strategies and Techniques training program was very appropriate for me.  The topics that were discussed were wide-ranging and are of value to other areas such as customer service, human resources, etc.  It has improved my awareness of some of the concerns inherent in my company, as well as offering me some solutions that I can implement in my job.  Further, its relevance to the industry was right on point, and serves to broaden my scope and job description.  This is a course that has prepared me to deal with situations that may arise in the future.  The instructor was excellent and kept each training session on track.

I learned the technique of conducting a debt collection management needs analysis.  This technique will be beneficial in determining delinquencies in accounts, as well as other aspects of the collections process in our organization.  This program will improve my effectiveness and help me to strategize and plan for getting better collection results.  Many of the things taught in the program are relative to my job, so I plan to use the techniques learned.

The training instructor was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and used real-life examples to support explanations and definitions.  I wish the length of the training could have been longer than four days, because of all the information one needs to absorb.  I can visualize myself becoming a more efficient manager, being more informed, and at the same time empowering and guiding my staff in being efficient and knowledgeable as well.
Adriana Mitchell-Gideon, Contact Center Manager, Karib Cable, Kingstown, St. Lucia

First, the instructor was very dynamic and has an excellent grasp of each topic presented in the course.  Second, this was an in-depth, straight to the point type of course that covered a wide range of topics in a short time.  Third, the program was effective and highly informative, it’s relevance to the industry was on target.  Finally, this program has broadened my scope and job responsibilities and has prepared me for all and any type of situations that face me.
