Development Bank of St. Kitts & Nevis
Inland Revenue Department
Simpson Finance Ltd.
National Bank of Dominica

I would recommend this program because it provided me with some useful information in both collections and customer service areas. Customer service is the prime focus of my job responsibility; therefore, I feel my effectiveness will be enhanced in a variety of ways. When working with my clients, for example, I learned some tips and techniques to use to effectively negotiate with my clients with overdue accounts. I feel that my communication skills will be improved, thereby making sure that the bank’s delinquent funds can be repaid by customers in a timely manner. What the instructor offered was a teaching style that was very clear, and very accurate to my present job. I have received value for my money, and left the course with a lot of useful information.

As a credit risk management officer, this course enhances what I already know, as well as provided me with ways to motivate myself to practice what I learnt and applying it to my everyday work. The section on debt collection software that was introduced was very new to me; and I felt I learned a lot in this area. The quality of the material given was up-to-date, and the instructor was knowledgeable. Overall, this training course was very in-depth and precise.

I enjoyed this training and the areas of customer service that the instructor reviewed. It was important to me because as a collector, it will enhance my ability to deal with everyone in the most professional ways. I would recommend this course to others within the Inland Revenue Department because it will broaden and increase his/her knowledge. It certainly will improve my effectiveness on the job and allow me to be a more effective and productive collector. The course has left me wanting to know more about Debt Collections!

Shirla Huggins, Executive Officer (Collections), Senior Tax Inspector, Inland Revenue Department, Basseterre, St. Kitts

This program was well-structured and was very intense. Also, it was comprehensive, yet easy to understand. It has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the debt collections process, and I know that it will help me to set targets while increasing my productivity as well as my staff. The binder that was given to me was more than adequate and can be used for future reference.

Jasmine Octave, Finance Supervisor, Simpson Finance Ltd, Basseterre, St. Kitts

The instructor was very thorough and displayed a lot of enthusiasm for the subject matter. Before the training I did not know a lot about the debt collection process because I am a new collector with little or no prior training. This course has truly been invaluable to me, and with the knowledge I have come away with, I will be in a better position to do my job more effectively.
